FPL – GAMEWEEK 24

Hey Everyone! Last week turned out to be a dreadful one and this week can be turn out to be rejuvenating one as we are going to have the first double gameweek of this season.

Liverpool are still unbeaten in the league and don’t even look like getting beaten anytime soon. Liverpool are also on a run of seven consecutive clean sheets in the league. They are looking stronger than ever and with this double gameweek we would suggest all to get your triple captains activated!! This might be the right time to use triple captain this season.

We have a London derby this gameweek i.e. Chelsea welcome their London neighbours Arseanl at Stamford Bridge.

Let’s move straight into our suggested gameweek team –

Captain Choice – Roberto Firmino
  • Roberto Frimino is a very good option for captaining this gameweek.
  • His away performances this season has made him a strong candidate this gameweek as Liverpool play both games away.

  • They are looking stronger than ever and with this double gameweek we would suggest all to consider having Firmino as their triple captain. He is also the most transfered-in player this gameweek.

  • Mahrez is owned only by 9.0% FPL managers, which is mainly due to inconsistency of his place in his starting line-up.

Tammy Abraham –

  • Tammy Abraham have been very impressive in his first season in the Premier League.
  • He has stepped-up to the occassion very well and has been a regular in the Chelsea team throughout the campaign.
  • He has accumulated 123 FPL points, most by any Chelsea player.
  • He has scored 13 goals and 4 assists this season.
  • Tammy has registered 30 shots on target this season which is fourth best in the league.
  • He is owned by 32.3% FPL managers with a price tag of £7.8.
  • Prediction – Chelsea 2-0 Arsenal.

Chelsea are looking to complete the Premier League double against Arsenal for the fifth time, having done so in 2005/06, 2009/10, 2012/13 and 2015/16. Only Liverpool and Man Utd have done this against the Gunners on five occasions. Watford are still a team to look forward to as they have been pretty impressive recently. All the Best!
